Whistleblowing policy

Whistleblowing is an important part of our commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults who may be vulnerable. It is also important in creating a healthy safeguarding culture and those who report concerns in good faith are behaving responsibly. But we must remember that whistleblowing may apply to many situations of unacceptable practice or behaviour.  Officially this is called ‘making a disclosure in the public interest’.
