Resilience: A Foundation of Hope
The video player can be used to watch the whole service. To listen to the sermon please use the audio player. Study Questions 1. How often do we think about our hope being in Jesus? How central to our own faith is hope? 2. How does it help us in tough times, knowing that underpinning everything, is Jesus? 3. In easier times, might it be harder to remember where our real hope is? What can distract us? 4. Can we see hope being a person? Consider: if you were on a plane, would you prefer to trust in your own decisions about how to fly, or in the pilot? 5. In life, who would you rather trust to make the right decisons? What does that mean about our hope being Jesus? 6. Apart from knowing everything, what other characteristics make Jesus our hope? Does it help knowing that he cried when he heard Lazarus had died? If so, why?
