This is an important first step in filling our vacancy. It’s our ‘shop window’ and needs to give a real sense of life in St Paul’s and All Saint’s – what we do and how we do it. We want to attract someone who will help us build on our strengths and tackle our challenges and so our whole congregations need to discern prayerfully together where we are on the journey that God has called us to and what we believe God is calling us to in the future. Only then will we understand what qualities we need in a new vicar. A small sub-group of PCC will work behind the scenes to plan and pull information together, and in the stages in between, we will be seeking as many views as possible from our church family.
